Celtel is a telecommunications company operating in several African countries and is a subsidiary of Zain Group, or "Zain" in short. It was founded by Sudanese-born Mo Ibrahim.

Africell  
Africell is a mobile telecommunications company serving The Gambia and Sierra Leone. It is a subsidiary of the Lebanese telecommunications company Lintel Holding. Africell has 346,341 subscribers (3 q 2007) in the Gambia and 360,000 in Sierra Leone.
